Job Title: Part-Time Housekeeper
Location: Near Hungerford, Berkshire
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am- 1pm
Salary: £15-£18 gross per hour depending on experience
This role will initially be a temporary 3 month booking but may be extended.

A couple living in a small village near Hungerford, Berkshire is seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Housekeeper to manage their household’s daily needs. The role involves a mix of housekeeping, meal preparation, and running light errands, helping ensure their home is organised and meals are prepared in advance to make things easier for the couple. This is a part-time position perfect for someone who enjoys working in a peaceful, rural setting and is happy to take on various household tasks with care and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping Duties:
- General cleaning and tidying to keep the home well-maintained.
- Laundry, including washing, ironing, and organising clothing and linens.
- Meal Preparation:
- Prepare lunch for the couple each day.
- Prepare dinner for them to reheat later.
- Errands and Shopping:
- Run local errands as required.
- Food shopping and restocking household supplies.
Personal Qualities
- Organised and Dependable: Able to work independently, be organised and reliable
- Attention to Detail: Ensures high standards of cleanliness and order in the home.
- Adaptable and Helpful: Willing to support the couple’s needs and manage any ad hoc tasks as they arise.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a housekeeping role is preferred.
- Driving Licence: Must have a valid driving licence and own car, as the location is remote and a vehicle is required for access and errands.
