Live-in Nanny – Reading, Berkshire (RG7)
Start Date: August 2025
Location: Near Reading, Berkshire (RG7)
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom within the family home
Family: Family of five with three children (who will be 5, 6, and 2 years old)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 gross per year, depending on experience
About the Family
This lovely returning family have moved to a beautiful home just outside Reading. They have three lively, happy children – two school-aged and a toddler – and are looking for a kind, capable live-in nanny to become a trusted part of their team. The household is fully staffed, and the parents are warm, welcoming, and used to working with professional nannies who are proactive, discreet, and genuinely enjoy supporting busy family life.
About the Role
This is a busy, varied role that blends nursery duties with lots of engagement and planning fun activities for the children. During the school day, your focus will mainly be on the youngest child, supporting his early learning and routines. After school, you’ll help with homework, activities, mealtimes, and winding down. The family values a nanny who is warm, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with other staff. They are looking for someone who is organised but also brings a sense of fun and creativity to the children’s days. There may also be opportunities to travel with the family.
Ideal Candidate
- Solid experience with both toddlers and school-aged children
- Confident working in fully staffed households
- Energetic, kind, and organised
- Pet-friendly (the family has a small, very friendly dog)
- Confident driver with a clean UK driving licence (nanny car provided)
- Happy to travel occasionally if needed
What’s On Offer
