Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper/House Manager to oversee the smooth running of our family home in Adderbury, Oxfordshire. This role involves a blend of housekeeping duties, meal preparation, supervising 18-year-old who has epilepsy, and caring for our two small dogs and a cat.
Key Responsibilities
General Housekeeping:
- Cleaning, tidying, and changing linens and towels regularly to maintain a clean and organised household.
- Washing up, laundry, and ironing.
- Being responsible for your own time and organisation of the household tasks.
Other:
- Food shopping via our family online account, meal preparation, and cooking.
- Supervising our son who has epilepsy while the client is in the London office two days a week.
- Supervising contractors on site as necessary.
Pet Care:
- Providing pet care for two small dogs and a cat.
- Ensure their well-being and cleanliness, including feeding and occasional vet visits when needed.
Requirements
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Emotionally mature with the ability to handle sensitive situations.
- Kind, empathetic, and caring towards both family members and pets.
- Proactive with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
- Tidy, organised, and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in cooking.
