My name is Prue, I am a Norland Nanny in Berkshire with 13+ Years of experience, being a Norland Nanny was a childhood dream come true and a total vocation for me.
I have nannied for many different families, with ages ranging from Newborn to Seventeen. Each family has been totally unique, which in turn has given me a wealth of experience. I have been fortunate enough to see many different countries, and work In London & the home counties. I feel very lucky to be able to look after such wonderful children, and to be part of someone else’s family, even if for a short amount of time.
I created A Mother’s Touch because after all the years of nannying and then giving birth to my son, I realised that a lot of parents don’t know what to do, how to prepare or where to turn to and end up in struggling. I hate the idea of parents struggling, and want to be there to help, guide & support no matter what stage of parenthood they are in.
I offer 1-1 bespoke support, from just being a phone call away to face to face meetings. As well as running classes which are Antenatal (All about baby), New baby Support, Toddlers, Routine, & Weaning. I have started running ‘Mummy meet ups’ to support mums & babies. Everyone is welcome to come along for tea, coffee, cake and ask all the questions they want, all while building new friendships and community. The meet ups have proven really popular and I’m now organising them monthly.
