Full-Time Nanny – Hungerford, Berkshire (RG17)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hungerford, Berkshire
Children: Three – aged 6, 4, and 2
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 7:00pm
Salary: Competitive for the right candidate
Accommodation: Live-in or live-out. Separate 2-bedroom cottage provided if live-in
About the Family
This lovely, outdoorsy family based just outside Hungerford are looking for a warm and energetic nanny to support them with their three young children. Mum is very hands-on and enjoys being part of the children’s day-to-day, so this role will be a mix of sole and shared care. The children are active, curious, and love getting stuck into activities – whether that’s crafts at home or exploring outside.
The eldest is at school during the day, and mum likes to spend quality time with the children too – so it’s rare for the nanny to have all three at once. Still, they’d love someone confident with managing three if needed, who’s happy to dive into family life with enthusiasm and care.
The household is fully staffed, including a housekeeper and a PA, so your focus will be purely on the children and their routines.
Role Responsibilities
You’ll be helping to keep the children’s days running smoothly – from school drop-offs and pick-ups, to classes, local outings, and creative activities at home. The family are looking for someone confident with the usual routines: preparing home-cooked, healthy meals; overseeing bath time and bedtimes; and generally creating a fun, nurturing environment for the children to thrive in.
You’ll also have the opportunity to travel with the family – they usually go away for up to six weeks a year, including skiing trips and holidays abroad.
There may be occasional weekend cover required, and flexibility around this would be appreciated.
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced nanny who is confident caring for multiple young children
- Energetic, playful, and enjoys getting involved in children’s activities
- Happy working in a home where parents are actively involved
- Comfortable with both shared and sole charge
- Confident cook, able to prepare nutritious and tasty meals for the children
- Flexible and open to occasional weekend support and travel
- Driver preferred, rural location
