Nanny / Housekeeper For Family with Twins near Lambourn, Berkshire

Location: Near Lambourn, Berkshire (RG17)
Salary: £33,000–£40,000 gross per year
Hours: Monday–Friday, 11am–6pm during term time and 9am–5pm during school holidays (around 37 hours per week on average)
About the Family
A warm, relaxed family of four living near Lambourn are looking for a kind and reliable nanny/housekeeper to join them on a long-term basis. Their home is calm, organised and down-to-earth, and they’re hoping to find someone who enjoys being part of a family’s daily rhythm. They have 4-year-old twin girls who are full of personality. During term time the girls are at school during the day, so the role naturally shifts between household support and childcare across the year. The family live in a lovely rural spot and value a home that feels tidy, welcoming and well run.
About the Role
This is a lovely hybrid role for someone who enjoys both childcare and keeping a home running smoothly. During the school day, you’ll focus on household tasks such as laundry, general tidying and keeping the house organised, before collecting the girls from school and spending the afternoon with them.
After school, the role centres around creating a calm and happy end to the day — preparing healthy snacks and meals, spending time playing or doing activities with the twins, and helping with the usual after-school routines until the parents finish work.
During school holidays the role becomes more childcare-focused, planning crafts, outdoor play and keeping the girls entertained and well cared for. The family are relaxed and easygoing, but appreciate someone who takes pride in maintaining a tidy home and can keep things running smoothly day-to-day.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, typically 11am–6pm during term time and 9am–5pm during holidays, though the family are open to some flexibility for the right person.
