Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Temporary Summer Nanny to support a family in Newbury, Berkshire. This role involves caring for the two older girls during the summer holidays, planning fun activities for them and occasionally taking them out for a few hours. Mum will also be at home with the newborn baby but would like someone fun and reliable to help with the two older girls. This would be a great role for someone either currently working as a part time nanny or someone whois working in a childcare setting but would like to gain experience in private nannying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Look after the two older girls, aged 3 and 4.
- Plan and engage in fun activities and playtime.
- Take the children to the park, feed the ducks and other outdoor activities.
- Prepare lunch for the children.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for the children.
Requirements:
- Experience with children of similar ages.
- Ability to think of fun and engaging activities for young children.
- Confident in taking children out to parks and other activities.
- Ideally have a valid first aid certificate.
- Ideally have a current DBS certificate.
- Reliable, honest, and caring.
- Good initiative and ability to anticipate needs.
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask.
